I have a star tsp100 futurePRNT receipt printer that has been working fine with RMS. It all of a sudden stopped working from RMS. I get the message "printer error - unkown error". I can still print to the printer from other programs, just not from RMS.
Did you try turning the printer off and then back on? I know it sounds too simple but anytime I have an issue with printing from RMS that usually fixes it. Craig
Im not familliar with the TSP 100, but I use the TSP 700s which have low paper sensors, they cause issues sometimes, making the printer appear unavailalbe even though its turned on etc, so i have placed a sticker over it to stop it thinking its run out of paper, which did the trick!
(You can download manuals from star online if your not sure where the sensor is etc)
