QBooks Pro EULA question

An associate wants me to try and work on her data file from Quickbooks Pro 2005. I do not currently have the program installed on my laptop. To my knowledge, she does not have a multi user license, but currently has the program installed on two machines. So, my question is: can I install her program on my laptop in order to work on her data file from home without her needing to purchase a multi user license for

that third machine (mine.)? Thanks, mongrelhunter

The purchaser of the software can install the software on as many machines as *they* will be using.

If you'll be doing regular or long-term work then you need a separate license.

You would need another license to legally install it on your computer.

If this is a long term deal then you might look for a copy of the software on eBay to have your own copy.

How about accessing her computer using remote access? Then you would not need to install the program on your own computer.
