Does anyone know hot get the QODBC driver run faster.
When I try to execute an UPDATE statement, it takes 4-5 minutes for it to complete. However, SELECT and INSERT statements run much faster. Both SELECT and INSERT statements complete in less than 1 minute. Its the UPDATE statement that takes 4-5 minutes to complete.
Any suggestions. Has anyone experinced the same thing. Any one know how to speed up the execution of UPDATE statements.

I don't have firsthand experience with the QODBC driver, but I know it works via the QB SDK. I suspect the performance issues are due to the SDK, which can be very slow for certain operations.
The QODBC website has support forums that would likely be the best place for you to find any solutions.
