UK version vs US Version

I am trying to convert from the UK version of Quick Books to the US version. Apart from exporting lists from the UK version to an iif file then importing into a new US version company, is there any way this can be done.

If not, is there any way I can open the UK file to be able to do the iif export as I no longer have access to the original program (and am on the Congo so don't have access to anywhere I can buy another copy)

TIA Steve

I am not aware of any conversion program but that does not mean that one does not exist. I do believe that you *should not* install the US and a foreign version on the same computer due to potential data corruption.

Have you looked on the intuit marketplace:

? Another option would be to look on the UK Intuit website:

to see if they have a trial version that you can download. I see the Simple Start Free version but I don't know if it offers the option to export your lists. An alternative would be to seek out a UK QB user on the UK Community site to see if they will export your lists for you.
