I'm just starting out with Quickbooks after getting frustrated with Sage. Now I'm getting frustrated with Quickbooks because I can't figure out how to undo if I've made a mistake. up until now i've been using excel to track my expenses and have to file my annual return soon. I'm trying to transfer all my data across to QB, but if i make a wrong entry i have to start over again. what am i doing wrong. thanks in advance

Sorry for not being specific enough. I have added a bill which i wish to remove, because it was a mistake. I have clicked on the pay bills icon and slected the item in the list view. Pressed Del, right clicked in the hope of finding a context menu, pressed clear, but i jsut cannot get rid of it.

From the Pay Bill screen, highlight the bill and click on the "go to bill" button. Once you have the bill displayed select Edit>>delete bill.

Tip: when you need to change or delete a transaction, display the transaction and look under the Edit menu for the action you want to achieve.
