Using Quicken H&B 2013 with Windows 7. I plan to install a second copy on my laptop, and will be travelling. Since there is always a risk of losing my laptop, I'd like to insure that my Quicken files are secure, in addition to passwording them, so I am considering using encryption. Haven't decided exactly what to do or use yet, so I am seeking good advice. I am considering TrueCrypt, and/or using MS Windows EFS [encrypted file system]. I have no experience with either of these - right now I am doing lots of reading and learning.
I currently prefer to enter all my data manually - I do not link Quicken with any online services.
If anyone can offer me advice - things to read, a website, one's own practices and experience, it will be very much appreciated.
