G'day all,
I recently received my copy of the Australian version of Q2006 Personal Plus and am planning to install it shortly (over the existing Q2005 Personal Plus, which is apparently uninstalled during the process).
Would appreciate comments, hints, warnings etc. from anyone who has gone through the same process.

Thanks for your feedback with your experience of the upgrade.
I decided to 'bite the bullet', and installed Q2006 without any apparent problems. In fact the whole process, including the internet "activation", went remarkably smoothly. Like you, I didn't need the backups. Well, so far at least.
Must admit I did disable my anti-virus and Microsoft AntiSpyware software whilst doing the install.
