Linking a Paycheck

My direct depositpaycheck shows up in my checking, is there a way to link that transaction to the paycheck you setup in Quicken 2006 premiere?

Your paycheck should be setup as a scheduled transaction. It should have split amounts for the direct deposit, taxes, 401k, etc. Apply the scheduled transaction before you download the banking data. The banking download will then match up to the direct deposit. This must be done in the correct order. Once working, it allows you to track all the paycheck deductions, taxes, etc.

Thanks Jim....I will give it a try.

Not really. If you download data and your paycheck comes in but matches nothing then you go "Oh, yeah, I forgot to apply my scheduled paycheck transaction" you can simply apply your scheduled paycheck transaction and it will/should then match.
