Best Place to buy Turbo Tax

Where is the best (cheapest) place to buy Turbo Tax?

Online, Staples, Wal-Mart?

Aren't they all the same? The difference is in the goodies you get along with the sofware. OfficeMax gives you a $20 shoping card. Staples gives you 10 useless programs and a $10 card. CircuitCity doesn't have any extras. Ya pays your money and gets your pick.

Avoid on-line.

Otherwise, check the prices and the deals. I always get it the first week it's out at Staples. I get:

TT Deluxe (Fed & State) Quicken Deluxe (free after rebates) Norton Antivirus (free after rebates)

Thanks Hank. I too usually get it at Staples.

The reason I asked is that I noticed that this year (at least in the local paper ads) they are offering Quicken basic (not Deluxe) and I need Quicken Deluxe.

Does anybody have a handle on the cheapest way to get TT Deluxe, Q06 Deluxe plus a Q06 Basic (for a friend)?

The only time I've seen Q Deluxe offered for "free" is during that first week sale at Staples. They have, for the past 2 or 3 years, put the deluxe version on sale at a price that makes it free after rebates. If you miss that sale. AFAIK, you are stuck with getting Q Deluxe at a reduced price, but not free....

I wonder how many weeks before it starts showing up on Ebay.
