That's not always true. I had no trouble getting quotes this afternoon - about 4:03 pm CST, 11/14/06.

But I was not able to get quotes one day about a week ago. Yes, it was a BIG up day on Wall Street. Later that evening the quotes came down OK.

Maybe it's our fault. We ALL want to check quotes on big days and that overloads Quicken's servers - which probably have to compete for bandwidth with all the other quote servers.

I'd report it to Intuit if I thought they gave a flying rip; but I know better.

Thur 4:35pm Central I have version 6 premium and just updated no problem.

NOT Quicken's server!!! Their quotes (see screen) are provided by Comstock , and the historical quotes from Iverson. Blame the messenger-- NOT the message!

Translation- if their server is down- Quicken has NOTHING to quote! Jim
