Cancelling automatic splits in downloaded transactions

How to I cancel automatic splits for downloaded transactions? Quicken has memorized the split transactions for a trip to TOPS Supermarket from three years ago and I can't get rid of them. Each downloaded TOPS transaction has split lines for "bread", "cereal", and "milk"; the amount difference is not assigned a category. I would like everything from TOPS assigned to an unsplit "groceries" category. How do I do this?

Depending on your Quicken year version:

Banking (or Tools, or Cash Flow) > Memorized Payee List

Locate the payee, select the memorized transaction, click Edit and modify to suit.

[To get rid of the split lines: click the Split button, select and delete each split line, then click Adjust, then Ok; then enter the category of your choice.]
