Using Q2004P. When I run a capital gains report, reinvested gains from mutual funds do not show up. Shouldn't these appear on the report?
Capital gains report - no reinvestments??

No - Capital gains are realized gains[losses] from the sale of securities - i.e., they do not occur until you execute a sell.
But they're reported to the IRS as taxable gains. Do they appear as such in some other Quicken report?
Run QW's Tax Summary Report and/or Tax Schedule Report - these are reported on Sched B:Dividends and Interest.
Ahhh, that does it, thanks! This is what happens when you've been using the DOS version forever... :)

Capital gains/losses, at least in Canada, can also occur when the portfolio manager does rebalancing, e.g. selling some units and moving the funds to other mutual funds/shares. In Canada, NO T slips are issued when ANYONE sells shares or mutual funds. Check the report for the last quarter VERY carefully for a header like, "Realized Capital Gains/Losses". There is data here that MUST BE REPORTED on your income tax return.
