I want to delete a bunch of categories and accounts that I won't be using anymore; to unclutter.
However, I don't want to lose the data associated with those categories and accounts if I need to use the info later.
Is there a way to save current category settings in a file, then delete the unwanted categories, and use just the categories I want in a new file set?
Is it as simple as File / New / New Quicken File? Will quicken let me name the old file to say.. pre-2009.QDF?
