Errors in Cash Flow Forecast Graphs-Quicken 2005 bug.

I use Quicken Deluxe 2005 R5. Since upgrading to v 2005, I haven't been able to get correct balances to show on the graph, even with a single account trial setup. During an online chat with Quicken Customer Service in September 2005, I found out that this is a known issue and that a correction was in the works. (Actually "Peter" said "soon the update will be released to solve this issue"). "Bug" was my terminology! Anyway, it's still there after several upgrades. Any news on this?

That's the problem! Does it appear in Quicken Deluxe 2006 too?

I do not know. I have tracked down the error to accounts (ie, Fidelity or Vanguard) that have funds that have been closed. The account page correctly shows a zero value with no shares remaining. When you open the "reports page" in the net worth report and select "show active accounts" it shows the closed fund with a value of -$3200. Several funds are in the same shape, but almost all are the ones that have been closed. In other words, you sell a particular mutual fund in a 401k account but the net worth thinks there is still some positive or negative value remaining. I have yet to get an answer on why.

Otherwise, the program is great.
