Exchange Rates

Jun 20, 2009 2 Replies

When I update my price histories, a series of exchange rates are also downloaded. I am using Quicken HAB 2009 (Cdn version) and I have one mutual fund in $US. Quicken converts the $US value of the fund into Canadian when I view the value of all my accounts. However, I cannot find anywhere what exchange rate Quicken uses - I know it's downloaded, but where do I find the listing or price history of the exchange rate in Quicken?

Thanks,

Doug

OK, found the currency list under the tools menu with the exchange rate history, but the history only goes back one month. Have been using the "update" button for almost a year - don't understand why the currency list only has one month of data for any currency listed.

Thanks,

Doug

On a tangent, this has been a minor grip since ... whenever I started to want to follow investments in Quicken. Aside from Cash, Stock and Bonds, how do I follow it? Getting price updates for ForEx, precious metals, and da kind. Just one of those gripes.
