I have Quicken 2009 HAB Cdn version and have run into a problem trying to enter a US mutual fund. The fund is American, in $US, but I cannot enter it into Quicken as a new security. It has to be categorized as a US Stock in the security set up because that is the only US-based entry available in the drop-down menu. Once I do that, however, I get a message saying it already exists (which it doesn't) and it kicks me back to the set-up wizard for a new security. Any idea as to how to get around this? Thx.
