Is it true that Quicken can not download prices for ETFs? I have only est. price. (If so, it would be nice if they told you that.)How are the estimated prices calculated (they're way off)?

I don't know.

Might get pretty complex trying to identify all the securities that Quicken can not download prices for ... and keeping that info current.

Estimated prices are not "calculated". An estimated price is an actual price, just not for the date in question ... it is the most recent actual price that Quicken has.

A better answer: yes, Quicken can download prices for ETF's. At least it can download prices for SPY. It is possible that Quicken might not have access to prices for all ETF's; it depends on what prices S&P Comstock can provide (and perhaps what Intuit has to pay for them).
