Help listing activated account in the "Cash Flow Center"

Oct 22, 2008 2 Replies

Hi,

I am working with Quicken 2007 Deluxe for Windows and have been struggling with this problem for a few hours now. I added a credit card account but it's not listed in the Cash Flow Center alongside my other accounts. I don't see it in the "Account List" either. However, when I update accounts, I see it finds this one and connects to the credit card website. I've tried to add the account again but it says it's already activated. My question: Does anyone know how to add this account to the Cash Flow Center?

Thanks.

I can only think of two possible reasons why an existing account would not appear in the Account List: the account is "hidden" and the option to "View hidden accounts" is not selected; or there is some data corruption. The former doesn't sound likely, given your description; the latter you can test by Validating a Quicken Copy of your data and looking in the Validated Copy.

Perhaps the account is there, but not where you expect it to be. Neither the Account List nor the Cash Flow Center list accounts in alphabetical order (unless you have taken the time to manually rearrange the default order ... which is "order entered"). Look at the end of the Credit Card group of accounts for a newly added credit card account.

I got it sorted out. Thanks very much for your response.
