How can I control the accounts that show up on the home page of Quicken 2007?

I just upgraded to Quicken 2007 for Windows. So far so good. Here's a question I've needed to ask even with the old quicken. When I go to my Quicken Home Page that I set up .... the part that says All Accounts .... is there a way to edit that so that all my old closed accounts don't show up there also?

Thanks Don

Navigate using Tools --> Account List. Select the Manage Accounts tab.

Put check marks in the Hide In Quicken column for those accounts you don't wish to see.

That hides accounts from the account bar but not from the "All Accounts" part of the Quicken Home Page view. Any other suggestion?

Make sure you have told Quicken not to allow you to "View hidden accounts" (an "Option" in the Account List menu).

In earlier versions of Quicken you could also often find an "Option" in the Title Bar of Quicken displays that allowed you to "Customize this graph" etc..

Another problem with your post is that you are referring to something that does not exist - as you describe - in earlier versions of Quicken. There is no list, graph, or other display that I know of in Quicken that is titled "All accounts". "All accounts" is an option for some reports, graphs, and lists ... but I don't recall ever seeing anything with that label in Quicken. Is there something new by that name in Q2007?

That did it. Thanks. I didn't realize if you could view hidden accounts in the account list that would also propogate to the Quicken home page. Duh on my part.
