How do I get Q2007 H&B to display Morningstar ratings?

When I bring up Q2007 and go to the Investing Center, there is a section of the report entitled "Mutual Fund Ratings from Morningstar". This section is substantially blank...everything is labelled "N/A". There is even an option button "Get full comparison", but it still gives the "N/A" for all my funds.

Have I not set something I should have in order to get the ratings?

Assuming Q2007 works as previous versions; Morningstar ratings apply only to securities with the Quicken "Type" of "Mutual Fund" ... with the correct ticker.

I just tried it also. NA for all funds and the ticker symbols are correct. It worked fine in 2006

Try this.

Create a "New" Quicken file. In the New Quicken file, enter one valid mutual fund with correct ticker in the Security List, with "Type" "Mutual Fund". Make sure you either have the fund in the "Watch List" or own at least one share of the fund. Do a One Step Update with "Download quotes, asset classes, ...." checked.

If you still have N/A for the Morningstar rating, I suggest you report it in the Product Feedback forum in the Quicken forums.

It just dawned on me that I'm pretty sure that I recently read a post from Intuit saying that Morningstar ratings required the Premier version of Quicken. I believe the post was in answer to someone using Q2007.

I think that Intuit poster said that had always been true, but I know that's wrong. I have Q2005 Deluxe, and it can get Morningstar ratings. I can't speak for Q2006 because I have the Premier version; it definitely gets Morningstar ratings, but I can't say whether Q2006 Deluxe does.

It's conceivable that there has been a change since Q2005 and that Premier is now required for Morningstar ratings.

When I read your post, something clicked: One Step Update was necessary.

I tried it, and now I have my Morningside stars.

Thanks!!!
