how memorize transaction with five split lines

In Q 10, every month I have to enter a deposit with five lines in the split and I haven't figured out how I can memorize this so I just have to enter the amounts and skip all the typing. (I tried to put it on my macro keyboard, but it did not handle the tabs and enters gracefully. The results were unreliable). John Polasek

Try puttiing the transaction in the Monthly Bill Pay. You can do this fir a deposit. Do it similar to a payroll check whichhjas many splits. However don't put a value in the fields so that it appears on the Bill Pay List as a deposit but the value shows as (no amount). When it's time to enter, just go to Bill list, highlight the deposit and click the (no amount). The transaction should pop up and let you fill in the amounts, then click ENTER TRANSACTION.

Note: I.m doing this by memory, as I am travelling and don;t have my Quicken computer with me, so there may be some minor differences. Also I'm using QD 2010 - will be upgradinng as soon as I can get a Turbotax/QD pack.

Thank you for your suggestions, but I was not able to do either one of them. However, I was able to do it the simplest way: enter the exactly proper name (that was the key) as the payee, and pick the best one from a little roster of previous transactions that pops up. The transaction was then properly duplicated, ready for editing. I have always done it that way before but I think I lost track of the exact payee name.
