How to copy reports

Nov 04, 2005 6 Replies

In Quicken 2006 Deluxe is there a way to copy graphs, charts and reports in various formats for the purpose of e-mailing? Also can I copy a report and put in into Excel? How would I do that? I am not an advanced Excel user so step by step instructions would be appreciated. TIA!

I choose print and use the option to print in PDF format. You will receive a message asking to name the pdf file. Save it to a place you remember---desktop or my messages for example. Then you can select the file and send it my email.

For Excel, you don't "copy" the report, just "Print" it and in the Print dialog, elect to "Export to" a "tab delimited" file. That file can be opened by Excel, and with a small amount of work on your part (Excel will guide you), become a spreadsheet.

Sorry one more thing. Can I print an expense summary graph? I see how to do the printer setup for it but to actually print it is another question.

What is the "expense summary graph"? Is this the "Expenses" graph available on Quicken "Home" tabs? Or some other graph from Reports & Graphs.
