How to Kill Starting Query

Mar 31, 2007 1 Replies

I have tried to find a way to kill the initial query asking if you want Quicken to be the default app for downloading financial data, et. al. I always answer NO for personal reasons.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this nusance?

Best Regards

Dick

First, there is no reason not to answer yes. The question I am thinking of relates only to the processing of ".qfx" files. Those files are specific to Quicken (as ".doc" files are MS Word files). The question doesn't have anything to do with "downloading", only with *processing* "Web Connect" data (".qfx" data).

Second, answering yes should get rid of the question ... and I know of nothing else that will.

Third, if answering yes does not eliminate the question, there are more specific steps you can take to achieve the same result as answering yes should have.
