I'm stuck, perhaps because of expectations... I want to enter an investment (unit trust), and as I get my investment reports, update with the current bid price per unit that would then give me the current value. My goal is to be able to look back over a period of years to see how it performed. I have Windows XP Home edition, Quicken 2000 (UK version). Any suggestions or instructions gratefully received!

There's no problem doing what you want. This is what Quicken was designed for.
What particular part are you having problems with? Entering the investment? Entering the prices? Something else?
