How to remove File entries Quicken Prem 06

May 02, 2008 2 Replies

I am on Quicken 6 primier version QA5. I want to get rid of file entires on the File Drop down list that shows Quicken files or file names I no longer use. Right now Quicken lists four files, I only need/want two files that I use daily to be listed. How do I remove the ones I don't want?

TIA

I don't have Q2006 installed, but I think it should work the same as Q2008.

Edit the file "QUSER.INI" found at:

\Documents and Settings\YourWindowsUserName\Application Data\Intuit\Quicken\Config

In the section, "[Recent Files]", clear the file names appearing to the right of the equal sign for those files you do not want to see in your Quicken File menu Recent Files list.
