I have not seen this bug, or if I have, I don't recognize it from your description. One interesting thing I *did* notice, however ....

I've traveled twice out of state to see my Mom & Dad in the last couple months. Dad and I are both running QP2007, though during my first visit, we had R1, and during my most recent visit, we had R2. Both times, I took my Q data files with me on a USB flash drive and used Quicken with my data on my dad's machine.

On my machine, I have not experience the OSU Summary Page bug, where it displays after an OSU even if the box is checked to only display this page upon error(s). Dad, however, has had this bug since day one. Using my data on Dad's machine with R1, I experienced the OSU bug, but when I returned home and copied my data back to my own machine, I did not experience the bug (still using R1).

During my most recent trip, I see that Dad is still experiencing the OSU bug despite having updated to R2, which IIRC, was supposed to fix the bug. Using my Q data on Dad's machine, I experienced this bug, too. Upon returning home, I once again copied my Q data from the flash drive back to my hard disk. Even though I have R2 (and have never experienced this bug on my machine), I find that I have this bug after using my data on Dad's machine!!!

Seeing as I had entered very few transactions while I was gone, I decided to try an experiment. I restored a backup of my Quicken data that I made immediately before I left for Dad's. Sure enough, the OSU bug is now gone from my machine!!!

So with R1, the OSU bug does *not* move with the data file, but with R2, it does. Interesting, eh?

Regards,

Margaret
