Intuit took my money!!!

Arggggg!

I just read an article in the NYT telling how Inuit was focusing on building better products. Then I get a coupon in the mail for $20 off Q2006 and telling me Q2003 will no longer be supported. Hey! Sounds like the perfect time to upgrade.

Nada, nothing, zip, zero. 2006 Deluxe is just like the upgrade to

2003. All flash and no function.

When are they going to start fixing the real problems?

When will I be able to see monthly AVERAGES in reports? When will I be able to budget against my net salary even though I enter my gross salary via the paycheck wizard. (Who really budgets their taxes?)

Sincerely, Frustrated

asellars, don't get your knickers in a twist.

First, Q06 *does* have new features. Second, you could go to the Intuit web site to check out new features to see if they have any value to you before upgrading. Third, you got an additional three years of downloading with your upgrade, so all is not lost. Fourth, you haven't identified any problems with Q06. You've asked for new features, though. Have you communicated this to Intuit?

If this is as important as your message implies, then focus your energies in the right direction.

Seems to me you had a real problem with 2003 losing support. 2006 at least fixed that (now we could debate if they actually offer any real support...) (running, ducking and hiding.... INCOMING!)

First of all, there are a *ton* of changes/fixes made. You may not think that they are the changes you want, but they *are* there... Next time take some time and research what an upgrade will get you. It would have taken you about 15 minutes to find out what you were apparently willing to spend money to find out.

Second, you based a purchase decision on a NYT article?????? And then bought it from Intuit???? If you had bothered to follow this ng and/or read any of the Staples/Office Maxx/Office depot/etc. ads over the past couple of months, you could have gotten it for about the same price and had a whole lot of bundled software included..... I got it in December *FOR FREE* when I bought TTax at Staples..................

At least you're getting a 2006 version. Us Quicken UK users are getting nothing! Nada! #$%& all! Intuit has simply abandoned the product. And what's worse is they haven't bothered to give us a way to convert our data files to Quicken US or Australia etc. so that we can continue using the product...

So be grateful. At least you're getting something...
