Hi, Moonraker.
The details have varied from one annual version of Quicken to another, and you didn't tell us which year you are trying to install. Generally, though, if Quicken's installer finds an earlier version, it will delete that version before installing the new one into the same folder. But if you select the Custom install, you can specify - among other things - where the new version should be installed. The details will vary, so that's why it's important to tell which version you are trying to install.
I've not done this in several years. John Pollard has run multiple versions for a long time and can furnish instructions. Stay tuned and he probably will post information within a day or two. Or just search this newsgroups for the question, which he has answered several times.

I have an old Quicken98 and have tried loading a later version, but in order to do so it eliminates my old one. Is it possible to have 2 versions of Quicken ate the same time, not necessarily running but available to load? If so how can I achieve it? TIA
