Online Bill pay MS-Money conert need help

Hi all

I am an MS money convert in the process. Almost done, ran into on-line bill pay issue. I am done creating all my on-line updates, i can get all my statements etc. I have a wells Fargo account enabled for pay via software, where in MS Money I would select epay, click send payments and done. Where is this equivalent Quicken Feature? Do I have to create a quicken bill pay account for that?

Cheers

I can't tell you how comparable Quicken's capabilites and methods are to what you had in Money.

In Quicken, you can use "Quicken Billpay" on just about any checking account (or savings account, I believe); all "Quicken Billpay" instructions can be created in, and sent by, Quicken.

If you use the bill pay facilities of your financial institution; you may, or may not, be able to send bill pay instructions from Quicken; that depends on your financial institution.

To determine if your Wells Fargo account can accept billpay instructions from Quicken, open the Quicken account to the Overview tab (I'm assuming you are using Q2007), and take a look at the "Account Attributes". If you can use Wells Fargo bill

*from* Quicken, you should see an account attribute "Online Payment through ... Wells Fargo ..." with a value of "Available". And probably a line below that saying "Quicken Bill Pay" "Activate Quicken Bill Pay".

If the "... Payment through Wells Fargo" is available, click the "Change Online Services" button, then click the "Activate Online Payment" button.

Generally, bill pay instructions are sent by the One Step Update process whenever you elect to do an OSU.
