Q'06 pricing

It looks like Staples.Com is the place to go for Quicken 2006 starting Sunday. Their offering a $20 Easy Rebate and sending a $20 Gift Card with purchase. Also free shipping on orders over $50. Since the lowest price is for the Deluxe version, at $59.95, that might be the best deal so far. Course you can probably get it free, if you wait till Tax time.

just looked at their web site and do not see anything about a gift card. Costco usually has real good prices. Furthermore, I got something in the mail from Intuit that offers the premier version at regular list price less $20 rebate for upgraders, but they also give a copy of their new legal software and another investment software.

Got the info from an advance E-mail of Sunday's Ad, so you won't see it posted on their site till then. Just a heads up!

I actually chatted with pre-sales support at Intuit and asked them abou tthe $20 off instant rebate plus other software. They said "no problem" and have sent me Q6 Premier, Investor and Will Maker for $67 shipped.

I am a previous customer for Q5.

Usually, the tax time free version of Quicken is the "Basic" one (not Deluxe)..

Guess I jumped the gun, as Staples deal seems comparable to many others out there. I believe your statement is right about the "Basic" being the freebie, however, scouring the ads last year I found that one week OMax, as part of their TTax package, you could sub-in the Deluxe Q'05 for $39.95 and get a $20 Gift Card! Don't ya know the box had the $20.00 Upgrade Rebate Cert. in it too! Now, if they only would have given me the stamp.

For the past few years, Staples has had the Deluxe version on sale the first week the Turbo Tax package was available. With the rebate, it was free. AS I recall, though, it used to be $30 rebate on the deluxe version.....

Staples--with Premier: $79.99, less $20 gift card rebate and less a $20 cash rebate equal net $39.99.

That was at the store. I don't know about the internet pricing.
