Q H&B customer list problem revisited

A few years and versions ago, I had a problem where I would try to invoice someone and Quicken would act like it was a new client, not filling in the address . I assumed Quicken was correct and typed in the address in the invoice block. At that point, Quicken says the address doesn't match what was already there for the individual and allowed me the option of giving her a new unique name (I'd certainly rather use her real name if she really is there). So part of Quicken didn't know about this client and part of it did. The same thing is happening now, in version 2011.

I can't find the person in the customer list. I also can't find any invoice for the person (transactions date back to 2005) but I do see some petty cash transactions that I made on her behalf. It certainly is possible that I recorded the expenses correctly but never made an invoice, just emailed her what she owed (these are tiny amounts for my genealogy "business"), but if so, why does Quicken seem to find an existing entry for her in the customer list, and how to I get this back in sync? I investigated exporting the customer list into a text file, but all you can do is select what you can see, so if there is corruption in the list, I doubt that it would show up in an exported file.

Look in the Address Book and look at "".

Perhaps the "customer" is not assigned to the "" group.
