Q2006 and 401k

Aug 22, 2006 1 Replies

I have a 401k account with my previous employer. I set up the account in Quicken a few years ago. I dowload all transactions a few times a month, and let Quicken manage the totals.

The problem is, right now, Quicken shows about $31,000 more than my employer's, Hewitt, website. I don't know why that happened, and I'm not sure how I correct it.

Any thoughts on why it would report incorrectly, and how do I subtract the amount to that Quicken is accuate?

Thanks!

I use Hewitt also. I found that sometimes duplicate entries for the same deposit appear. Check all the deposits and make sure they are not duplicated. I also check before accepting them. Jeff
