Q2006 Deluxe dies on start up - Invalid Op in QWMAIN.DLL

Mar 09, 2006 0 Replies

Running Win 98 SE with all security patches. I have tried uninstalling q2006, using cleanup tool, reinstalling in different folder, installing in Safe Mode, running in Safe Mode, called Live Phone support, tried installing direct from hard drive, installing from hard drive in Safe Mode. All efforts end in a "bad DLL call". Q2006 runs on other Win98 SE system so problem has to be in an old DLL or some such. Tried uninstalling old peripherals, tried uninstalling optical mouse Still no joy. Looked for duplicate DLLs, looked for stale DLLs - none found but problem still occurs. This problem is making my head hurt.

Thanks to all that have previous tried to help. Text from error dump:
