Quciken 2012 edit file list

If I click on the File tab, it shows a list of 4 accounts at the bottom of dropdown. How do I edit this list to show the ones I want? Somehow I have managed to make Quicken think there are accounts that don't exist or are on Googler Drive (maybe beacause I once accidentally moved a file there to back it up when I should have copied it there instead).

The 4 accounts are the last 4 used.

Just open the accounts you want using "File - Open".

I think you mean "files" and not "accounts".

The "files" listed are the latest Quicken "files" you have used. I only have ONE - as that is where all my "accounts" live, such as banking, stocks, mutual funds, investments, 401k, IRA, all inside that one single database "file" of ALL my Quicken information.

Hi, Nobody.

That list is the 4 MRU (Most Recently Used) Quicken files you've opened. One way to delete unwanted ones is to just keep opening different files until those scroll off the list.

For a more permanent fix, edit QUSER.INI, the Quicken file that holds the list. A Bing search for "quicken mru" quickly found this message in the Quicken Community:

That post omits the required punctuation in the file path. It should read: C:\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\Intuit\Quicken\Config

Let us know if this solves your problem.

Well that didn't really fix it. Restoring the four account I want to show up from backups did.
