I've had Quicken 2004 running fine on Windows XP SP2 for close to a year now. Last time I ran it was about 3 days ago. This evening I start Quicken and it crashes immediately at startup. No messages, just briefly brings up the splash screen and then terminates.
As far as I know my software configuration hasn't changed. I've tried running a file system check, no problems. I also tried moving my quicken data files out of the way, on the theory that they might have somehow gotten corrupted, but that didn't have any effect.
I guess the next step is going to be saving the data files, uninstall / reinstall of Quicken, but before I do that I want to see if there's anything less drastic I can do.
