Quicken 2011- manufactured transaction

Just a guess, but you probably entered the transaction erroneously, with the wrong date.

I've done that too occasionally, but this time it doesn't seem like it. The transaction doesn't show up until my 1/31/14 backup (I checked all of Janu ary) and it isn't in the 1/28/14 backup, so something happened in that time frame. All of my transactions are accounted for manually, and there isn't any for the exact amount that is showing up in 1978, although there is one that is close. I have a good guess what happened, but it's too long and bo ring to explain. Short story: it was probably my fumble fingers when I was tired. At least its all fixed and reconciled.
