While my bank (Wells Fargo) charges me a monthly fee to pay bills through Quicken, they've never said anything about charges for simply accessing my accounts.
Where'd you hear this?

Sorry. Was talking about in Canada....I believe Quicken was going to have a monthly subscription fee. I seem to remember that was one reason for changing the file extensions (QFX or QIF?) Perhaps I was mis-informed ?
Some US banks do charge for access; no reason why they couldn't other than the marketplace.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that s**t doesn't *always* roll downhill... Intuit charges the banks, so the banks charge us.
