Quicken Consultants?

I have used personal financial software since 98. I have done well to keep up with my most common, most active accounts: checking, credit cards, cash....but, I am a bus owner. I am extremely busy, and dont have much time. I now have so much to keep up with Quicken.

I have some accounts that are not maintained very well: mortgage accounts, investment accounts......I know some of these are not hard; but I just need more time....I have rental properites and employees (Payroll)......occasionally I have a uncommon (for me) transaction in some account that I dont understand.. I try to read/ study how to post the transaction/ question, and it takes me 1-2 hours and I'm not sure I arrived at the correct answer....

There are many very useful features of Quicken that I wish I had time for: "Planning" and "Tax planning", "Reports". I barely keep my head above water reconcliing the basic accounts (credit card and 2 checking).

I would like to use many of the planning featues of Quicken -- if I had more time... I really like Quicken. I think I could use it better if I had some help - in my home...

Here's the purpose of my post: are there people who are "consultants", experts in Quicken, who can come to a persons home (or office), and, working closely with the person: review all the data, fix problems, clean it up, look for possibly unknown problems, set up accounts, close accounts, help to get investment accounts up to date, make recommendations, etc?

I realize that our Quicken Data is very confidential data. Such a person would need to be established, recommended and known - not some stranger off the street. I am not asking for a CPA or a Finacial Advisor. I am asking for a Quicken Consultant.

Is there such an association of "Certified Quicken Advisors"? Thanks!!

I would recommend "Quicken - All - In - One Desk References for Dummy", by Gail A. Perry, CPA. Published in 2006, a little outdated, there might be a more recent update.

I bought this book in 2007 when my Aunt died (needed to "kill" time before the service) and I have learned lots - even though I have used Quicken since 95.

You seem to mean well so I won't be TOO sarcastic. Yes, you need a consultant. Go to the Yellow Pages. Look under ACCOUNTANTS. With all your varied assets WHY do you not already have an accountant? It IS a tax deduction, you know, in your case.
