Quicken for a chiropractic practice?

I have a friend who wants to use Quicken for billing in a chiropractic business.

  1. Would Quicken Home and Business be the correct choice?

  1. Someone told him there is an add-in designed for medical practices that will create the standard insurance billing statements to send to insurance companies. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks

Quicken is financial software not Accounting software You want Intuit's QuickBooks.

Not very well. Most medical offices use specialized medical billing software to manage their billing and invoices. They use QB to record lump deposits and expenses only.

I second that. I helped my dentist select a professional dental billing software program. I would not go near Quicken or Quickbooks. They are fine programs but not good for medical billing and processing of private insurance and medicare claims.

You need to Google chiropractic software billing to get some good ideas.
