I noticed that my quicken [2020 r30.14] let me put in a transaction with no category - I was sure I had it set to require categories on all transactions. BUT>.. I can't figure out how -- I've been through every field in the <settings> dialogs and I just can't find it. If the 'how to' for this is websearch findable, I'm not nearly a clever enough search-term figurer-outer to find it :o)

Select "Edit" > "Preferences...", "Notify", check "When entering uncategorized transactions", and select "OK".

Thanks! I now see why/how I missed it -- it is *already* checked, but still allowed non-categorized transaction. Hmm.. I gotta do more checking about what happened.
