Is it possible to revert to Quicken 2015? I upgraded to 2017 but would like to revert to 2015. When I attempt to open my QDF file I get this message: "Cannot open file. The QDF file is from a later version of Quicken"

Q2015 can not read/process a data file created by a later version of Quicken.
When you have Q2015 installed, you can start with your most recent Q2015 data file and bring it up-to-date with some combination of downloading, importing QIF files (from your Q2017 file), and manual entry.
