Scheduled updates in Quicken 2005 were working ok until I put a password on the file (not the PIN vault password). One-step updates have been working ok, but the scheduled updates would not run. I removed the file password and scheduled updates worked again. Seems that it's impossible to secure the quicken user file with a password if running the scheduled updates. That's about as useless as the earlier versions of Quicken that allowed anyone to remove a file password without knowing what the previous password was. Is there any way around this problem?
