Quicken gives me two graphs for a security: price vs time and market value vs time. Is there a way to get "profit/loss" vs time, i.e., market value minus cost basis?
Then, is there a way to specify a group of accounts or securities and have the graphs apply to the whole group? The group might be a whole portfolio or in my case (today), I'm considering selling two securities and want the loss in one to offset the gain in the other. The difference might be increasing in either the right or the wrong direction or it could be stable. And I want to know how close I am to the $3000/year (or whatever it is now) loss that I can carry over.
