Send Online Transactions error msg - Quicken 2005

I have Quicken 2005 Basic Release 3 and use online banking to make payments (using Citibank, not Quicken Bill Pay) and update various financial accounts at Schwab etc. Everything works fine. However, when I try and exit Quicken I get "You have online transactions to send. Do you want to send them before exiting?" I don't actually have any transactions to send. I've clicked "Yes" to send, done 1-Step Updates, etc. My PC connects online fine but no online transactions are sent (which is correct, since I don't have any!) But Quicken still prompts me when I try to close it.

I've validated the file and even super-validated it, but I continue to have problems. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you look in the "Online Update Summary?" You can get it from the "Online" menu. It might provide some useful information.

If you can tell which account it is, you can try disabling online access for that account and then re-enabling it.

One drastic measure that should work is to move the .QEL file and start Quicken. You may need to re-enable online banking for all of your accounts and you will most likely get a bunch of old downloads. It should totally reset all of your online accounts without affecting any transactions in the register.
