statement attachments

In Quicken 2007, is there a limit to the number of statements you can attach to a quicken account? Can they be rearranged, renamed etc, in the account overview tab?

The ability to attach statements (ie. pdfs and images) hasn't been with quicken for that long (1983). More like in the last couple of years. I think you're talking about something else, Oilcan.

So, what are you saying? that when Quicken added the ability to attach images (sometime in the last 2 years, I believe), you went back and attached images you had been keeping since 1983 (or else scanned them all and then attached them)? It's just not clear to me what you're saying. Can you clarify?

In fact, the ability to attach pictures/files existed way back when (pre-

2000?), then was discarded. Not sure whether it was a benefit that came with Paperport and Intuit allowed it in Quicken, or something else.

Anyway, the ability is welcomed. Now I wish there was an easier way to attach the files then presently available. I hate to have to resave the files in an attachment folder that is as specific as it is now. Sorry, I could have been clearer: What I'd like is a single folder/directory where I can download or save files, and then have Quicken attach them by just pointing a pointer at them. Or is that not encrypted enough?
