tax refunds and tax planner

In the past I have recorded tax refunds into the same categories my taxes are withheld. Such as Tax:Fed and Tax:State. Today I wanted to use the tax planner to see if I need to make any adjustments before the end of the year. It said I was way below the mark. Obviously due to to big tax refund checks from 2004. I manually corrected and it seemed to be good. Quicken has many nice (some not so nice) extra features to help you plan and manage your finances. This tax planner is one example. I learned that by not following Quicken's rules that I made other tools I might want to use less effective. I was about to go change all of my tax refunds to go into the Tax Refund category so this would work without adjusting it manually. Then I thought that maybe there is a way to use one of the other approachs talked about here for dealing with tax refunds so the tax planner will also work. I believe one common approach is to create classes for each tax year. If I were to do this, is there a way to make this work with the tax planner without having to manually tweak the data?
