Turbotax

Downloaded TTax 2015 Deluxe from Amazon this morning. No problems installing, although the installer asked for admin rights about 4 times. There's also something called Fuego Forms installed that I haven't figured out yet. Traditional forms mode has been restored, incluuding Sch C & D.

Contrary to a few web reports, no problem importing data from last year's H&R Block file. No significant GUI changes.

Thanks for the info. Is that Fuego Forms set as the default forms option by default? And, you have to make a change to get back to "normal" forms? If so, how did you do that?

Thanks charliec

Well, that's the thing. Other than seeing it being installed, I can't figure out what it's doing (if anything). Forms mode in the program is same as it has been in previous years.

Apparently something related to Obamacare:

My impression from one online review site is that Intuit has restored all t he functions to the Deluxe version that pissed people off last year (becaus e they had to upgrade to Premier). I realize they eventually gave Premier to those of us who complained enough, but want to be sure that I really ca n buy the Deluxe version and have all the "old" interview and other paths t hru Schedule D (in particular. There may be other forms that affect me, but I don't remember any).
