Quicken Deluxe 2016 Upgrade over Quicken Deluxe 2015?

I just acquired Quicken Deluxe 2016. I currently run Quicken Deluxe 2015 (latest version) and am wondering if there is anything I should lookout for or be aware of in installing Q2016 over Q2015 (after full backup, of course :)?

Thanks for any insights. charliec

A one-year update is usually a piece of cake. At any rate, I upgraded Q2015 Premiere to Q2016 Premiere without incident.

Complaints? Q2016 was unable to update itself to R2 and then again for R3. I resorted to downloading the mondo update from Intuit's web pile, both times. As well, the difference between Q2015 and Q2016 is small, even by historical standards. And that's saying something.

FWIW - Windows 10, as with you Q2015 Premier to Q2016. Zero problems, even with the updating. Piece of (pineapple upside down) cake.

Another question - I upgraded to Q2016 over Q2015. Everything in the program appears to working fine (fingers crossed :). One thing, in the past, when running Q2015, the shortcut to the program would appear in the Win7 Start Menu list of recently programs activity. Q2016 is not showing up there. What do I need to change to get it listed on the Start Menu?

Thanks charliec

Use it more often - it will eventually show up since frequently used programs appear there. If you want to, you can pin it to the start menu (right click and select)
