TurboTax + Quicken deal?

Wait til the day after Thanksgiving!!!

Make sure you look for the Staples ads when TT is released. For the past few years, during the first week or so, they have offered Quicken Deluxe on sale for the Basic price (that makes it free after the rebate) along with the usual suspects (Symantec AV upgrade free after rebates, TT rebate, TT State, a shredder, etc.).

I've upgraded Q Deluxe for the past 3 or 4 years for free.........

It's best to wait for the "official" release of TT. Everyone has the same deal plus lots of other freebies (after rebate) thrown in. The best is Staples. They have, for the past several years, offered the usual TT Deluxe offer and put Quicken Deluxe on sale at the Basic price, so the end cost is $0.00 after rebates. I've upgraded My QD each year for the past 4 years using this offer....

I would never, ever, take Intuit up on an offer. At *best* it is the same as offered by every retailer and most times ends up costing less....

Also - I agree that Staples is the way to go. Their "Easy Rebate" program lets you enter most rebates on line and track them all on one page. Beats the heck out of copying, stamping and mailing.
