Running Q2006P- I have a budget status report that, among other things helps me detect and locate uncategorized transactions. The annoying thing is that the report shows a budgeted amount for this "uncategorized" category. I can find nowhere that there's a budget established for it. Does anyone know how I can clear this out? - it throws balances off!!!
Look in the budget for the Quicken created budget categories of "... - Other" for category groups (make sure "Show category groups" is checked).
Check to see if the uncategorized transactions are actually the buy-side of a Reinvest transaction.
